South Carolina WMU has produced a video/PowerPoint online training as a part of the South Carolina Baptist Convention Distributive Learning Network. The segment is an introduction to WMU and includes both the purpose and strategic principles of Woman's Missionary Union. If you want to know more about WMU, here's a great site to visit. Church planting can be a very lonely experience and that's why the North American Mission Board created this site. It provides both resources and a community for those starting churches in a variety of contexts. With articles, mentors, and people to contact for help, this site is a must for the church planter. Even includes a section for those whose church start failed. Check out this Web site for a variety of leadership articles: developing leaders, dealing with grief, church growth, etc. The Christian Century is a magazine that believes the Christian faith calls people to a profound engagement with the world--an engagement of head and heart. We think Christians must articulate their faith in a way that is socially meaningful and intellectually compelling.
Christianity.com is a for-profit, Christian company whose vision is to connect a global audience with ministries, ministry resources, and each other in order that the body of Christ may be strengthened worldwide. The Leavell Center, at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, offers online demographic and growth information. Check out this site.
